It’s not too trashy though, but messy enough that you know people were, until recently, quite busy around here. Well, he's been bugging me for it, and I still have no idea what to write for my short story DUE NEXT WEEK, so I figured I might as well write a story about him.

He's looking disapprovingly at a few passages. I think they need reworking.

I'm also not sure what the conflict will be, entirely. Maybe someone should get raped :) But that's technically counted as sex, and apparently sex, death, and high fantasy are out of the question.

Damn you Neilsen. Oh, but he doesn't discriminate against spec fic writers. "Some of my best friends are spec fic writers!" Quite, quite.

Oh, he (not Neilsen. The other he) also tells me I'm doing That Thing Again, Whereby I Combine Myself With A Favoured Fictional Character and Write My Protagonist As That Unholy Union.

Well, shit.


On that note, holy Jesus I lied about that getting to sleep before midnight thing. I guess that shows me...

Hi, thanks for your comment :)

I've never been a member of Fictionpress or Fanfiction.net, though everyone around me seems to be. DA has always been enough for me: most of my writing I consider not nearly worthy enough to publish, even electronically/casually, so it usually just sits on my hard drive or in my exercise books.

The things I put up are usually scraps, drafts, and the literary equivalent of sketches :)

Oh, and of course with regards to fanfiction.net, I don't really want to profane the works of my favourite authors with my unworthy hand :P
